This year, I plan to own every classic gaming console in existence. Why? Because I like the smell of nostalgia in the morning. B-) So far, I have the Nintendo 64 (I also have the Wii) and the Gameboy Advance; all that's left to get now is the Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, NES, SNES, Gameboy, Playstation, AND the Gamecube. I also plan to buy all the games for the said systems. Just like that.

Here's a list of the games I have at this moment, along with the past and current consoles they belong to:

N64:
Mario Kart 64
Diddy Kong Racing

Wii:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Mario Kart Wii

And with the Gameboy Advance in my possession, I will get the following games I need:

Mario Tennis: Power Tour
Sonic Advance
Sonic Advance 2
Namco Museum
Super Mario Advance
Super Mario Advance 2
Super Mario Advance 3
Super Mario Advance 4
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga
The Jungle Book
Cartoon Network Speedway
Cartoon Network Block Party
Nicktoons Unite!

Other future games I want to buy and own:

Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
Super Mario Kart (SNES)
Super Mario 64 (N64)
Banjo-Kazooie (N64)
Jet Force Gemini (N64)
Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (NES)
Super Mario World (SNES)
Super Mario Bros. 2 (NES)
Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
Yoshi's Story (N64)
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SNES)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (Gamecube)
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (Gamecube)
Mario Kart Double Dash (Gamecube)
Donkey Kong 64 (N64)
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)
Crash Bandicoot (Playstation)
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (Playstation)
Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped (Playstation)
Ready 2 Rumble Round 2 (Dreamcast)
Chu Chu Rocket (Dreamcast)
Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis)
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Genesis)
Sonic & Knuckles (Genesis)
Sonic Spinball (Genesis)
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis)
Golden Axe (Genesis)
Kid Chameleon (Genesis)
The Lion King (Genesis)
Luigi's Mansion (Gamecube)
Namco Museum (Gamecube)
Blaster Master (NES)
Mario Party (N64)
Mario Party 2 (N64)
Mario Party 3 (N64)
Mario Party 4 (Gamecube)
Mario Party 5 (Gamecube)
Super Mario Sunshine (Gamecube)
Tetris (Gameboy)

I'm not buying all those games at once, just a few at a time. Once my mom and I get settled into a bigger home, I'll have plenty of space for me to store them and their respective consoles. If I'm lucky (and if I'm knowledgeable with recording equipment), I may do playthroughs/walkthroughs of the games, showing you guys how to play them, as well as showing you some secrets they have. Who knows? I might become the next Chuggaconroy. ;)

EDIT: Here's something I oughta let you guys know. First of all the NES and SNES (and yes, even the Sega Genesis) are the classic consoles that can be a bit pricey and they may not have all the parts you've been hoping they'll have. My best bet on getting the consoles is on Ebay; for the NES you'll need to find the complete set (console, cords, controllers, games), or if the set is half-complete (console, cords, and controllers) then you'll need to get that before getting the games. However, one most important thing to note here is you should ONLY get the console that already has had a 72 pin connector installed, otherwise you'll have a hard time trying to buy a new one, along with the tools needed to help install it. Also, you'll need dust covers for the NES games to keep 'em nice and clean and in good working condition.
