Darkness...
The eternal abyss...
The chains that bound me to the Netherrealm all those years ago remain tight around my paws.
How long...how long has it been since I've seen the light? No...I hate the light. It is a sign of weakness. The sign of peace and good in the galaxy. That is not what my heart truly desires. It is eternal darkness that I only seek.
Now the memories slowly come flooding back to me. Memories from when I once had a soul. Memories of building a peaceful civilization with my people's neighbors, the Erinis. Memories of the crystal caverns...the corruption of my heart...my burning hunger for unlimited power from beyond the stars. War. My sons slain by my enemies, their blood staining the formerly green meadows...and then...death.
