Yesterday...was the BEST day of my life! I went to Disneyland with my mom, to meet :iconrkerekes13: in person for the first time in three years.

We got up early to catch a taxi to the entrance where the theme park was; from there we had to walk all the way to where the tickets were sold. We were told to meet Taylor near the carousel in Fantasyland...and sure enough, there he was! Along with his uncle and two younger cousins. I'll never forget that smile on his face when I ran towards him and gave him a hug.

The first ride we went on was the carousel where we had met. Next we went to the Haunted Mansion; seeing as the park was still in holiday season until January 6, it had a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. The Enchanted Tiki Room was pretty good, and so were the Dole Whip Floats we had afterwards. Yum!

For lunch, we went to the Carnation Cafe (where my brother worked). By the time after we got on several more rides and explored other areas, the sun had already begun to set, so we went back to the cafe to catch the Christmas Day parade that was going on at the time.

I got some good gifts, too. My mom bought me a cute Minnie Mouse hat, but the one gift Taylor got me that I'll always cherish was a music box. If you want to know what it looks like, picture this: it's a small plastic box decorated like a jewelry box, with portraits of Elsa and Anna on the sides. When you open it, you'll find a figurine of the two sisters behind a little mirror, twirling around as the music box plays the tune "Let It Go" once you turn the key. The best part? It's also a REAL jewelry box with a charm bracelet inside.

I'm hoping the next time I see him, I also want to meet his mom and the rest of his family. For now, I want to relax and think about the day I visited the "happiest place on earth" with my very own sugarbear.

Congrats! I also went to Disneyland too and have been to Disney California Adventure as well in my last trip to the US.

It was pretty awesome: my family rode some rides in both places (I like rides such as Soarin' Over California, Muppets 3D, the animation demonstration and exhibit area (I fooled Ursula in getting my muffled voice dub on one scene from Bambi), and that wild water ride with tire-like contraptions); too bad the film presentation I saw almost 7 years ago (now) have been turned to Ariel's Underwater Adventure. Man, that film was so good... And It's a Small World being under renovations then.
